Consultations

Hi,  my name is Lisa Seville.   I’ve spent 30 years working with plants - from commercial growing to designing, maintaining, and revamping both private and public gardens. I run my own cold-climate retail nursery, give horticultural talks, and share Saturday morning gardening advice as one of the resident gardening experts on ABC Ballarat’s Regional Victoria Saturday Breakfast 107.9FM.    

I'm a trade qualified Horticulturist and I have a diploma in Project Management,  my real passion is helping people create outdoor spaces that thrive. Whether it’s choosing the right plants, improving soil, or planning the layout of a new garden, I love finding practical, achievable solutions.

What’s included

During a consultation, I’ll walk through your garden with you and offer advice on plant identification, improving soil quality, pruning and fertilising schedules, irrigation, pest and disease management, and suggestions for planting and layout using common names and genera.  You’re welcome to take notes or record our chat so you can refer back later.

Consultation details

Fee:  $120 per hour (minimum 1 hour).   I’ll confirm payment options when we lock in your booking, with payment due on the day of the consultation.    For consultations beyond 25 km from Navigators Nursery, a travel fee will apply. For every extra 10 km, an additional 10 minutes at the hourly rate is added.
