Acer palmatum 'Tamukeyama' is a stunning weeping Japanese maple with deeply dissected, rich burgundy-red foliage that holds its colour beautifully throughout the growing season. This standard form is grafted on a stem to create an elegant, architectural focal point for your garden.

The cascading branches create a graceful fountain effect, making it perfect for feature planting in borders, courtyards, or as a specimen in larger pots. In autumn, the foliage intensifies to brilliant crimson before falling.

Growing conditions: Prefers a sheltered position with morning sun and afternoon shade, or dappled light throughout the day. Protect from hot afternoon sun and strong winds. Thrives in well-drained, slightly acidic soil enriched with organic matter. Frost tolerant once established.
