Azalea ‘Hino de Giri’ – Rosy Pink Compact Evergreen Shrub

Azalea ‘Hino de Giri’ is a beautiful evergreen azalea with masses of bright rosy pink flowers that create a spectacular display in spring. The vibrant blooms cover the plant beautifully, creating a wonderful splash of colour against its deep green foliage.

Growing to approximately 1.5 m tall and 1.2 m wide, ‘Hino de Giri’ forms a neat, bushy shrub ideal for garden beds, low hedging, pots or planting beneath larger trees and shrubs.

It prefers a partly shaded position with protection from hot afternoon sun and performs best in well-drained, acidic soil enriched with organic matter. Hardy and well suited to cool-climate gardens, it’s a reliable choice for Ballarat and other frost-prone areas.

At Navigators Nursery, your frost-hardy nursery near Ballarat, we carefully select plants with our local conditions in mind. ‘Hino de Giri’ is a favourite for its compact habit, reliable flowering and brilliant spring colour.
