Citrus junos - Yuzu lemon

Citrus junos, commonly known as Yuzu, is a highly aromatic Japanese citrus prized for its intensely fragrant zest and tart juice. This cold-hardy citrus produces small, bumpy yellow fruits with a unique flavour profile combining lemon, mandarin, and grapefruit notes.

Yuzu is perfect for cold climate gardens, tolerating frosts better than most citrus varieties. The fragrant white blossoms appear in spring, followed by fruits that ripen in winter. Use the zest and juice in cooking, cocktails, marmalades, and traditional Japanese cuisine.

Grows well in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil. Ideal for containers or garden beds. Mature height approximately 2-3m, width 1.5-2m. Self-fertile.
