Citrus × paradisi 'Marsh' – Marsh Grapefruit

Classic pale-fleshed grapefruit for fresh picking. ‘Marsh’ produces large, juicy fruit with the bright sweet-tart flavour grapefruit lovers enjoy. Often described as virtually seedless, it is delicious halved for breakfast, juiced or added to fresh salads. Fragrant white flowers and glossy evergreen leaves add year-round appeal.

• Plant in full sun in well-drained soil, ideally against a warm, sheltered wall.
• Allow approximately 3–5 m in height and 3–4 m in width at maturity, depending on rootstock, conditions and pruning.
• Water consistently while establishing and feed with a suitable citrus fertiliser during the growing season.
• In our Ballarat cold climate, protect young trees from hard frost; fruiting and ripening are best in a warm, sheltered position.
