Clematis 'Edomurasaki' - Deep Purple Large-Flowered Clematis - Climber

Clematis 'Edomurasaki' is a sumptuous Japanese large-flowered clematis with velvety, deep violet-purple blooms and a contrasting boss of dark red stamens. The name refers to a traditional Edo-period purple, and the rich flowers look stunning against pale walls or tumbling through silver-leaved shrubs.
