Correa pulchella ‘Orange Glow’ – Orange Flowering Native Correa

Correa pulchella ‘Orange Glow’, commonly known as Orange Glow Correa, is a beautiful Australian native shrub with attractive evergreen foliage and masses of bright orange, bell-shaped flowers. The flowers appear through the cooler months and are particularly valuable for providing nectar for native birds when fewer other plants are in flower.

Growing to around 1 metre tall and 1 metre wide, ‘Orange Glow’ forms a compact, rounded shrub that works beautifully as a feature plant, low informal hedge, border planting or in pots and containers. Its dense evergreen foliage provides year-round structure and shelter for small wildlife.

It prefers a sunny to partly shaded position with well-drained soil and is adaptable to a range of conditions once established. It is drought tolerant and frost tolerant, making it well suited to our Ballarat cold climate. A light prune after flowering can help maintain a neat, compact shape.

At Navigators Nursery, your frost-hardy nursery near Ballarat, we carefully select plants with our local conditions in mind. Orange Glow Correa is a lovely Australian native for bringing warm winter colour, evergreen structure and valuable food for native birds to a Ballarat garden.
