A colourful evergreen to semi-evergreen fern with striking coppery-red new growth that matures to deep green. Adds warmth and contrast to shaded garden beds. Reasonably frost hardy, it tolerates moderate frost, though colder conditions may damage fronds — fresh growth quickly follows in spring.
