Gaura lindheimeri ‘Belleza White’ | White Gaura

Gaura lindheimeri ‘Belleza White’ is a compact, free-flowering perennial with masses of delicate white, butterfly-shaped flowers held above fresh green foliage. The flowers sway gently in the breeze, bringing movement and a light, airy feel to garden beds and borders. Flowering over a long period from spring into autumn, it also attracts bees and other pollinators.

Growing to around 30–50cm high and wide, it is well suited to garden borders, rockeries and containers. Plant in full sun for the best flowering, in well-drained soil. Once established, it tolerates heat and dry conditions. Trim back spent flowers to encourage further blooms and cut back in late winter to promote fresh growth.

It tolerates frost, but repeated or severe frosts may cause damage. For Ballarat’s cold climate, choose a sunny, well-drained position and protect young plants during harsh winter conditions.
