Gleditsia triacanthos 'Sunburst' - Sunburst Honey Locust

Sunburst Honey Locust is a spectacular deciduous tree prized for its brilliant golden-yellow foliage that emerges in spring and holds its vibrant colour throughout the growing season. This thornless variety creates a stunning focal point in the garden with its bright, ferny leaves that provide dappled shade and turn golden in autumn.

Growing to approximately 8-10 metres tall with a spread of 6-8 metres, Sunburst is an excellent choice for medium to large gardens where its graceful, spreading canopy can be fully appreciated. The fine, compound leaves create a light, airy effect and allow filtered sunlight to reach plants below.
