Lagerstroemia ‘Natchez’ – White Crepe Myrtle

Bring beautiful summer colour and year-round interest to your garden with Lagerstroemia ‘Natchez’. This elegant deciduous tree produces large clusters of pure white flowers through summer, followed by colourful autumn foliage. As it matures, its peeling bark reveals attractive cinnamon-coloured tones.

Developing a graceful, spreading canopy, ‘Natchez’ makes a lovely feature tree, avenue planting or summer shade tree. Its mildew resistance and tolerance of frost once established make it a useful choice for Ballarat gardens. Choose a warm, sunny position for the best flowering, and protect young plants from severe frost while establishing.

Plant in full sun in well-drained soil. Water deeply during establishment and during prolonged dry periods. Established trees tolerate periods of dry weather.

Mature size: approximately 6–8 m high × 4–6 m wide.
