Leucadendron 'Harvest'

Leucadendron 'Harvest' is a vigorous South African native shrub renowned for its warm golden-yellow bracts and foliage that intensifies in colour through autumn and winter. An excellent choice as a feature shrub or for mass planting, it also produces outstanding long-lasting cut flowers — popular in floral arrangements and picked posies.

Approximate size at maturity: 1.5–2m height × 1–1.5m width.

Plant in full sun in well-drained, low-phosphorus soil. Moderately drought tolerant once established. Avoid overwatering and heavy clay soils. Performs well in cool climates including the Ballarat region.
