Leucadendron 'Lemon Spice'

Leucadendron ‘Lemon Spice’ is an attractive evergreen shrub with soft blue-grey foliage and unusual tulip-shaped flower heads in gentle lemon yellow, flushed with a warm red blush. Appearing in spring, they bring fresh colour to the garden and make excellent cut flowers.

Growing to approximately 1.5 metres tall and 1 metre wide, ‘Lemon Spice’ forms an upright, bushy shrub suited to feature planting, garden beds and mixed shrub borders. Its attractive foliage provides year-round interest.

Choose a sunny position with excellent drainage. Drought tolerant once established, it prefers free-draining soil and dislikes waterlogged conditions. In Ballarat’s cold climate, plant in a sheltered position and protect young plants from heavy frost, particularly in exposed areas.

At Navigators Nursery near Ballarat, ‘Lemon Spice’ offers a distinctive combination of year-round foliage and beautiful spring colour for a sunny, well-drained garden.
