Myoporum floribundum – Weeping Boobialla / Slender Myoporum

Myoporum floribundum is an unusual Australian native shrub with long, arching branches and fine, narrow leaves that hang gracefully downwards. In spring and early summer, the branches are adorned with masses of tiny white flowers, creating a beautiful, almost snow-covered appearance. The flowers are also attractive to native insects.

Growing to around 2.5–3 m high x 2–4 m wide, this distinctive shrub makes an excellent feature plant. It prefers a well-drained position in part shade or a sheltered sunny spot. It is drought tolerant once established and can tolerate frost. Prune lightly when young if needed, as mature plants do not respond well to heavy pruning.

Discover Myoporum floribundum at Navigators Nursery, your frost-hardy nursery near Ballarat. This frost-tolerant Australian native benefits from a sheltered position in our colder Ballarat and Navigators climate.
