Rhododendron ‘Van’ – Soft Pink Evergreen Flowering Shrub

Rhododendron ‘Van’ produces masses of soft pink flowers for a lovely spring display. The blooms stand out against dark green foliage, bringing gentle colour to partly shaded garden beds and evergreen structure throughout the year.

Growing to approximately 1.5–2 m tall and 1.5–2 m wide, ‘Van’ is a beautiful feature shrub for mixed beds or group plantings for a fuller display.

Choose a partly shaded position with protection from hot afternoon sun. Plant in well-drained, acidic soil enriched with organic matter. Keep the soil consistently moist during establishment and mulch well to protect its shallow root system.

Excellent cold tolerance makes ‘Van’ a great choice for Ballarat and other cool-climate gardens. At Navigators Nursery, your frost-hardy nursery near Ballarat, we carefully select plants with our local conditions in mind.
