Salvia × superba 'Dwarf Blue Queen' - Dwarf Meadow Sage

Salvia × superba 'Dwarf Blue Queen' is a compact perennial meadow sage with upright spikes of rich violet-blue flowers above aromatic green foliage. A lovely choice for a sunny border, cottage garden or pollinator-friendly planting.

• Position: Full sun in well-drained soil.
• Flowering: Late spring through summer; trim spent flower spikes to encourage further blooms.
• Size: Approximately 30–45 cm tall and 30–45 cm wide when established; size varies with growing conditions.
• Care: Water while establishing, then avoid prolonged waterlogging. Cut back old growth in late winter or early spring.

Its neat habit brings a ribbon of blue to the front of a border, and the flowers invite bees into the garden. A hardy choice for a cool-climate garden when planted in a sunny, free-draining spot.
